I recently acquired the book collection of an older gent - a WW2 USN vet and a friend- who has passed away. In his collection he had Warship, volumes 1 through 12, with the exception of Volume 11. He also had the 1989, 1990 and 1991 editions.
Are these worth anything?

Dear Martin,
If these are the hard bound volumes with four quarterly issues in each, then my local secondhand bookshop usually sells them for about �30 each. Personally, I'd keep them unless I already had a copy. Lucky you!

Thanks. Yes, they are the hardbound volumes and yes, I'm inclined to keep them - just wasnt sure if what I had stumbled upon was worth anything!

You can always check their values by doing a book search for them and you will see what dealers worldwide are asking for certain volumes. I expect the 1-12 are probably on that 20-30 pound range or $35-55 here in the US. Search the 'advanced book search' , 'worldwide option' at usedbooksearch.co.uk/books.htm This will pull up dealers from most major internet book sites. Good Luck!
