Some time ago, at"Online scratchbuild projects", I spotted this Imperial Russian Armoured Cruiser being in advanced state of building.
I'm sure all remember this beautiful ship.

The model looked to be a masterpiece and represented one of my favorite
ship of old Russian navy.
I left quite often for long time and there was at least one hacker disaster in the meantime and I don't know whether I missed the final effect or the project was discontinued, waiting for "better" time or maker's next flush of vein.

Hello MM Do you mean this one? The hull of this
1:96 scratch built Rurik is completed but other
distractions intervened { book project] and the
remainder of the build was put on hold .

Yes, that's what I meant.
I hope the sooner or later (maybe sooner) we'll see the model completed.
It is worth of it as a beautiful ship, uncommon subject and already done
reliable basis.

Dave, what a superb project! Riurik has always been one of my all time fave armoured cruisers - great to see you working on her, keep up the good work!
