DKM Markgraf getting started

Hello all.
Just have some questions on a kit I have just started working on, a 1:350 of the DKM Markgraf. I have not worked with a kit by this company or indeed this class of WW1 dreadnought and would love some advice on getting started with it. I have studied the pictures on this site of a completed model and my aim is for a similar finish. So would love to know how the torpedo net etc was fashioned. Any help and advice is most welcome.

Master Baumann has also built the K�nig, and I am not kidding by using the word master. He really is, and his build is also on this site. Just go to the Gallery and search Jim Baumann by Modellers. Unending string of stunning, absolutely incredible builds, among which you will find K�nig.

Thank you very much. Will keep every one informed as to how the build is going and post pics of it when I am done. But as with all things that takes time. I have been building ships for some years and lifting my skill level each time and although I have come a long way there are still techniques I have to learn (lots of them in fact) but that�s the fun in I guess. I have just about finished a 1:350 of the Tirpitz and although it looks very clean and the paint and etching work is reasonably well done it still lacks that realistic zing that makes for a great model. Need to learn how to get the rust makings etc to look right.
