20mm gunshields for 1/700 trumpeter Essex kits

Heres the inexpensive but tedious task Im in the middle of. I just cut a narrow ' V ' like the blem on the right of the first pic (size stock is in picture) and chop it off the strip and glue on. It wont give you 'Jim Bauman' grade parts. But its cheap and looks decent I think. I found it easiest to snip the sprue in front of a mount, install the shield. Snip the sprue in front of the next one and so on
