I worked yesterday & today a little further on Zinnia :
a few hatches & skylights are in the workshop , as usual , I used cardboard
here under a skylight above the Officers' mess , in the middle a hatch leading to the tunnel space , to the right a skylight to the same tunnel room :
this skylight is unfinished for now , there are one hatch & the two different covers above the skylights to come :
here under the building of a hatch on the forecastle deck , cardboard again , completely hollow inside , there above comes a cover with 4 windows :
Some views of the pilot house without the engine room transmitters :
the two engine room orders transmitters under construction , the base is a toothpick , cut to the right length , on top of it , there is paper wrapped around , glued with white glue , till I got the desired diameter ( toothpick being 2 mm in diameter , the top being 4 mm diameter )
the pilot house with the two E.R. transmitters ( dry fitted , they still have to be coated with resin , sanded a little , painted and the operating wheels have to be fitted ) ...
top of the wheelhouse , with the bearing compass on it ( dry fitted again , the grating has to get some "legs" under ) :
on the after part of the after deck , above the steering gear room , there are two chequered plates fitted , they just fit on the opening I had to make to get access to the rudder linkage , so this opening will not to be seen
( well , not totally
)
To further hide this opening , there will come a kite balloon storage rack :

As I move for 4 weeks to another location for my job , there will be nor update till next weekend , nor reactions from me on this very message board , sorry ...
