Hello,
I had a problem ballasting my Snowberry. I needed about 1 kg of weight added to bring it to the waterline. So I started a quest for searching a source for cheap lead source. I found an eldorado! At my local tire dealer I was offered to take a few kilograms of used lead and zinc weights used for wheel balancing. Got about 3-4 kilograms there, in pieces of 5 to 70 grams. On each piece a weight label. Most were quite dirty, but nothing a garden pipe cant fix. Some of the weights are exactly same as the weights you get at the modeling store.
Greets,
Petr

That works well too ;o)
But lead is max weight in least space from the easy available stuff. Only Gold and Uranium would be better, but I think too expensive for me ;o)
