Post by kennylibben »

Hey guys,

I found a ribset for a schnellboot, however i do not believe i have the proper software to flip / duplicate them on my computer. Would someone mind doing it for me? PM me your email address if so, thanks.

Well i guess since Ron replied first i'll send them to him, but thanks for the offer anyways Andy. Are either of you any good at resizing something? I need plans at 1/144 (luckily they fit on 1 normal piece of paper)

... i believe the ship set is at 1/138, im not sure of the ribset.

Ah, he beat me by two minutes! Still, his Iron Duke is going to beat my Dreadnought to the water by about two years, so I must be getting faster!

well according to my sources,
Dimensions
Size (Max): 110 t
Length (Total): 34,94 m
Length (Waterline):
Beam: 5,28 m
Draft: 1,8 m

so lets see here.... hope my math is right. 5.28 meters is 17.322834645669293 feet. divided by 144 is .12029747 feet.... is 1.44356964 inches?

So lets say 1.45 inches .... so for you thats what, 3.683 CM?

Wow.... this thing is gonna be impossible! haha, but it'll be fun to pull out even if it doesn't run....

wow, i'm an idiot. i just realized i could have gone from meters to centimeters, then to inches...but i guess i wasn't thinking you were metric at the time.

hope the math is right tho!

on a side note, its ironic how the "arsenal of democracy" uses imperial and all the old empires use metric.
