Last picture before launch day, just done a little more on the model, added some rigging and a few bits and pieces.
Now if they did a kit like this ,what would you pay for it.

clues.
sailed with Bryony 1943
shorter than Moffett
Had a long service record
Sailed on convoy HX.233, helped to sink U-175 , and it is not USS SPENCER.
All will be revieled after sundays launch day.

Simple but effective.

I wouldn't pay a thing. I don't buy US ships.
Great model and you seem to have gotten younger nowadays Mr. Ron! Is that due to the completion of your ship? If so, time for "old" Howie to finish a model too
(or at least show us his models, I don't seem to recall seeing any pictures of these, and I'm quite curious for them though!)

This is what you have been waiting for.
The commissioning of Moffett at the "
BOAT MUSEUM" Ellesmere, Port Cheshire
Here Ron and Howie's model get ready for
launch with a big send off , and a little traditional
bubbly from the Model Ship Society members .
The weather and water were superb befitting a fine model .
Enjoy the pictures
