Fine Brass Tubing?

Shipmates,

I used to use a source called Hobby Hanger back in the day for sub-miniature brass tubing. They used to sell a sample/variety pack that included an excellent range of sizes. I can't seem to locate them anymore and have not found a suitable source for brass. I've used stainless steel hypo tubing from time to time, but it's both expensive and difficult to find packaged in a "variety pack".

Just check your local or online architecture modeling, they usually feature a lot of that stuff for quite cheap prices. I also visit my model railroad shop for that.

Thanks for the quick response. A common brand of brass tubing sold here in most hobby shops in the US is "K&S"; however, for smaller scales they don't manufacture a fine enough tubing. I may need to focus on a good supplier for the Stainless Steel hypo tubing instead. An affordable assortment pack would be perfect.

You might try R&J Enterprises. They specialize in aftermarket armor parts. They have a website. Good folks to deal with.

You'll find the finest tubing in stainless steel. Try http://www.smallparts.com and look for thin wall capillary tubing.
