OK, I'm going to give my kid $50 and tell him to look in on this thread in a few weeks. What should he buy his old man (in the way of a book) for Fathers Day?

Please don't suggest a Dorling Kindersley book on dinosaurs....

You guys have the impression I hate Japanese ships, when my life's goal has been to have all the ships on both sides that appeared in the Solomons between August 1942 and November 1943.

Maybe something unusual say on Russian, Spanish or Austro-Hungarian warships, that must be a gap in most peoples naval library

Not sure on cost in the USA, but Stephen McLaughlin's book on Russian battleships is well worth having.
