Portsmouth photo question

Post by JWintjes »

This may be a long shot, but I'll give it a try anyway.

I'm looking for pictures from the Interwar/WW2 area showing both the Victory and a contemporary dreadnought (ideally a battlecruiser); the only thing I managed to come up with are some posters showing Repulse and Victory, but these are quite schematic and not that useful.

I'd be very grateful if anyone could point me to a source for that.

How about Ark Royal tied up at the same spot? I swear I once saw a first rate picture of the Ark Royal there. That is the WWII era Ark. :eyebrows:

I was aksed for a BC Bob so I only looked there :eyebrows:

I have an Ark one I posted on here before.
It is moored alongside the same keyside and is pre-war 1938 or 1939.
