Any photographs of WW2 Royal Navy Motor Transport ?

Post by phil gollin »

I am interested in what colours/camouflage the Motor Transport of the Royal Navy carried in WW2 ?

Does anyone have, or know of, any photographs of WW2 Royal Navy Motor Transport ?

Thanks.

(P.S. I "BELIEVE" that the gloss navy blue with "Royal Navy" or "Navy" in white writing was post-was, but can't be certain.)

The only thing I've ever seen are photographs of WWI Daimler lorries used by the RN to move stories in and around and between her bases in the UK.
These were still in service at the start of WW2.
Sorry I cannot be of further help.
