This is a horribly made video with a web cam but atleast I made one. If people could make videos on modeling techniques it helps.

I'm using more or less the same method on my tirpitz......I've got the grey hair to prove it!!! :lol_1:

I used thin balsa wood sheets, made a jig to cut it into narrow strips, and it sands down really thin, really easily....it looks a mess, then you sand it...and WOW!!.....my planks are 20mm...a bit over scale, but it looks ok to the eye
