unspoted aniversary

Post by Miroslaw »

Lately, having no contact with computer, I have come back home and noticed the Savo disaster aniversary have passed unspoted. For me, together with Matapan, this is the most sad moment in Washington cruisers history.
The best (in my opinion) heavy cruisers built interwar (Zaras and New Orleanses) encountered their fate having no chances to show their value being unihilated with havy loss of hands.
The third class, also wonderful (and beautiful) French Algerie found its end in Toulon. Wasn't it the history's giggle for class built only to suit Brits
and their Hawkins class?
