Can anyone point me in the direction of some references for HMS repulse 1941.

I'm hoping (well some time) to build her in 1/128 scale.

The semi kit will come with a basic plan, the tamiya kit will also help.
What else is there ?

Check out inter-library loan, a far less expensive way of getting hold of the books you need.

Go to your local library, they will have a web based catalogue where you can check online for books held by your library, but also any library in the UK. Once you find the book you want, usually there is a small fee but then you borrow it the same as any other book. This means you can get hold of expensive books and copy or scan what you need, also it is a good way to decide if it is worth spending the money on some of these out of print books by having a look at them first.

Our library (Norfolk) charges £2.50, but when you consider what some of these out-of-print books sell for it's a bargain. They allow access to their catalogue, and ordering, on line from home and email me when the book is in. They usually deliver within one or two weeks.

Also Simon if you are at or know someone who is at a British University and who is doing post-graduate research or is a member of staff they like me can order anything from the British Library free of charge.
This includes journal artciles which are posted to your door or books which can be sourced and got on short-term loan.

Not to make a commercial plug, but the recent new German-language version of the classic Raven/Roberts British Battleships of World War Two--perhaps the best work ever published of its type--is available at very reasonable prices.

While not specific to the 1941 Repulse, another fine publication is Ensign 8-Renown and Repulse by Maurice Northcott (whom, by the way, also authored the superb Ensign 7 Hood).

Profile Morskie #4 is based on the 1941 Repulse, although it has certain inaccuracies as many of that series do, and may be available at less cost.

With the tunnel-visioned commercial model market having produced 1941 versions of Repulse in a variety of scales, including the new Tamiya release, there should be little difficulty gathering the salient details for your planned project.
