Morning Ron Lad,
I have to say it, I must before I burst. Your 'Duane' is looking damn good. I have to admit, Dave goes on about it and I play it down, but really I'm green with envy. As the man says, you have some excellent ideas when it comes down to making model ships. Everything is slowly getting back to normal......well what I call normal. Chaos in other words.

Hi Guys, I have fitted the litho plate around the shield.

I have also fitted the strengthening sections to the gun tubs on both levels.

Viewed from the bow.

The handrails and stantions were fitted, the stantions are Billings Boats fittings, the incline ladders are p/e left over from the Moffett build.

Viewed from nearer the stern.

A view taken from above, near the bow you can see the weather shield, and the first Orlicon shield in place, and the litho around the first gun platform.

there are others who look in and I thank them, but what do we have to do to get scratch back to where it was 12 months ago, have we shown what we do to many times, or has every one learnt all they need to do there own thing, if thats the latter, lets see some of your builds.

Hi Guys, I have marked out and drilled for the stantions, glued in place and run in the rails.

Also fitted the angled steps in the well, started to mark out for the port holes.

4 Port holes fitted.

Hi Ron this is simply superb . Stanchions and rails add so much to a model get them right and the model looks even better.
