Decal Bath Warmer

I don't know if anybody ever thought of this before or posted it, but here goes:

One of my biggest gripes when affixing decals is when the water I'm using gets cold, which makes the decal adhesive more difficult to dissolve. So I took one of those electric coffee cup warmers and set my decal water on it and it stays warm enough the whole time I'm working.

I usually use a coffee mug or a small bowl that will fit on the element. Make sure you use something that won't melt. About the only problem is the water evaporating due to the heating element, but at least it doesn't get cold. And while they don't sell the coffee cup warmers much anymore they sell the exact same item for heating scented candles at Hobby Lobby and other craft stores.

Those warmers, with a large enough bowl of water, are also great for warming paint before airbrushing or spraying from a rattle can. Heating slightly allows gloss paint to settle and reduces orange peel.
