I have decided to design the project in 3D with the internal fitting out.
Probably more than a year of great work.
Here is the first part of the design.

Keel is laid down :lol_spit_1:

Keel is designed with 32 half-compartments.

You can see in this pic the possibility to remove Q turrets & install in the place new diesels. Then, the speed increase to over 28kts.

Here is thr rebuilt with 2T2x380
4 new diesels - 4x6000Shp - 2x2 in tandem take the place of Q turret.
The speed of the Ship is now over 27.5 kts.

I like that 2T3x150 layout for a secondary, that makes me think of K-Class turrets. Another thought might be building heavier AA emplacements in place of Q Turret. Speaking of Heavy AA, not sure on the coverage given by the second set of 88's, perhaps putting them on the aft superstructure might give better all-round coverage, since their forward arcs are impeded by the forward turrets? Just a thought.

Beautiful work though, far better at CAD than I could be any time immediately.
