I don't know why put every time I look at these photos I want to start to singing that old Beatles song. Any of the regulars to ModelWarships site who lived around the Nanoose Target Range in Canada may remember seeing Menhaden, it was kind of hard to miss.
some place I've a photo of one of the old fleet boats with a practice ASROC sticking out of USS Volador's (SS-490) sail. When I hunt it up I'll send it along to you.
