The gentleman was the head of the Japan Socialist Party after returning from a trip to communist china apparently advocating a similar system for Japan.

He evidently wasn`t considered a bad guy by many (working class) in 1960.

I believe the popular Swedish prime minister was stabbed to death in a department store by a deranged men wielding a knife just 3-4 years ago.
