Here's the SH-2 from the AFV Club Knox class kit. I went and got the Navy Gloss Gray FS16081 paint, today.

It does look a little green, doesn't it? I bet this is the color that the USS Sides veteran was refering to. I left off the side mounted equipment.

HI everyone
i am currently in Milan Italy with my friend Maurizio Chiaro. We are just back from Germany where we visited NNT shop. I have also met the master maker for Ships & Co Mr. Mauro Bertorello and i have seen his masters.... I can only say that U.S. navy fans will be happy with the Ships & Co. future releases.

Sure keep teasing, I will have the other kits by September. My wife is willing to give soon,

I started the ao-178 and trying to setup an area to start cvn. will post pics later in the week.

My CV- 34......replace the radar and mast with PE
and now ,wite the PE and decals for aircraft ....

This weekend's progress on my 1/700 USS Sides FFG-14. The masts and towers are not permanently attached, yet.

I am compiling a list now of all the Essex class and deciding which to put in these catagories

WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Original config, SCB-27A, SCB-27C, SCB-27C/125, LPH. i have decided on most of them

I printed and mounted two DESRON 1 decals on my USS Sides and attached the helo pad nets which are from GMM's Modern USN/JMSDF pe set.

Did I share this little guy with y'all, yet? Just for fun! USS Hercules PHM-2. I still have some railings and rigging to go, as well as a little more detail to the mast. I see a little diorama for it, too. I cut the hydrofoil supports uneven to portray it in a left turn.

I save the images from this web page and insert them in MSWord and resize down to .13" or .14" for 1/700 scale. I print about six of each size, sometimes .16". The one on the USS Sides is .14" and maybe just a little too, big.

I did the same thing on my USS Harry E. Hubbard DD-748.
