How to paint 1/700 IJN Linoleum deck Brass stripes?

Hello,

Does anybody have ideas for painting brass stripes on IJN linoleum decks in 1/700 scale? Masking ??

Masking is an option. Another option is to highlight them with a gold-coloured sharp pencil. Then you have the advantage of actually being able to erase your mistakes
Such metallic-coloured pencils (not markers!) can be found in arts and crafts stores. As you are talking IJN, I have also used a silver coloured pencil to successfully highlight the rails that were used to move the spare torpedoes in IJN destroyers, and I am certain the same technique would work equally well for the aircraft-moving tracks/rails on cruisers and battleships.

The Silver Pencil also works a treat on weathering IJN aircraft - especially if you want to reproduce salt weathering. The Silver Pencil can be used to reproduce paint chipping, especially around the join of the wings to the fuselage.
