I have just heard a rumour that David K. Brown passed away on the 16th April - is this true ? A sad loss to naval history if so, his books are often referred to and much treasured in my naval library.

Sadly,
I believe its true, even though nobody can seem to locate an obit. D.K. Brown's books are also a treasured part of my library as well.

One is to be published in the Warships Journal by the World Ship Society.
This was a publication David K. Brown published profusely in the last few years.
It would not surprise me if other publications do not also publish a fitting tribute to him, I have some of his notes here in my collection which I shall treasure even more now.
