I think she looks great. Can't wait to see more. I am hoping at some point to have a 1/72 DDH265 Annapolis in my fleet of ships. (but 1/350 takes up a lot less room and the wife probably wouldn't mind as much...)

Re: HMCS NIPIGON DDH266
Thanks . But I have a little problem. I wanted to build an Annapolis class destroyer because at the end of their life ,they were experimenting the new sonar(cantass ship) so I wouldn't have to scratchbuild the variable depth sonar .but I can't find very useful info on what is between the mast and the bridge.

Re: HMCS NIPIGON DDH266
These may help a little, addmittedly a lot of equipment is missing, but it gives general shape of structure,
There are plans available here http://hobcen.wordpress.com/vanguard-plans/
also check Taskforce 72, i think a guy called Geoff Eastwood has a 1/72 Annapolis.
Regards
John

Re: HMCS NIPIGON DDH266
Thank you but I already have plans from hob center of the hmcs fraser. And the picture shown on their site of the nipigon is from a period before
their conversion to cantass,it means they have the old mast and no fire control behind the bridge.

I have a pile of detail photos of Annapolis and Nipigon after they were decomm'd. Lot's of things are missing, but still able to see a lot, especially behind where things were.
I can make a CD for you, if you want. $10cdn including postage.
Let me know.
