Maybe you can repost some of your deck mAking pictures, and maybe sme of of the sinking and recovery...?

Its a mystery how you can bear to put such fine modelmkaing afloat-in REAL water!!!

.....not like my fake water- of paper and gel....

EXCELLENT Methodology!!!!
Love the forming of the steps in the Rubber-_ I have been using a soft pad of paper for a similar effect and similar purpose

but it does not do as good a job as your method-

I am off to look for some rubber....

I am bad storyteller in english - so I has drawn.

Soldering:
1. Cover fine layer tin(?????) a whole tube. there where will be steps.
2. To drip the acids under extreme steps (the detail 3 and 4) install the steps. Neatly, (from afar) warm the tube by gas burner.
3. Salve acid a tube between stairs (3) and (4)
4. Place firmly straightedge (1) in steps (3) and (4)

@ Maximus: I think I more or less understand, even though I do not understand how to apply the tin and what acid to use. Actually, I don't think I understand too much about the process so far ...

How do you apply a fine layer of tin? This is by heating solder or? I think I need a basic course in metal working!
