jumping the gun a bit

In a few weeks time my very first diorama will be displayed in the gallery. Yep I'm excited all right, but for all the wrong reasons, the shelf that is now complete contains 17 1-400 ships, and because I went straight in blind, never done a sea, or dry-dock, I thought what the hell might as well go the whole hog, a 5" gun placement, mountain range, sea, harbour wall, a dry dock, sailors, 17 1-400 warships, on a plank 27" by 4" - totally unrealistic, and I make no apology for that, I have never seen a complete 1-400 Heller kriegsmarine set in one location especially a diorama, which hasn't cost anything due to totally used scrap pieces. So, if possible, yes I would like both negative and positive responses, bare in mind this is a very first diorama which I have never done before, and I have gone in completely blind. This is very much me doing my own thing, and perhaps showing what can be done from nothing.
