Red, they don't call it the Divine Scale for nothing - you haven't seen me when I'm stuck on a single project and my brain's running. The Gneiseau I cranked out in a couple of days. I got the two boxes, and I hit the ground running.

I have a semi-gloss coat on the model, right now. I think I'll have to tone it down a little with a flat clear coat. Too, shiny.

A few more rigging lines to go. The flag. And still one more NULKs to make. I'm getting some RHIBs from BFM, soon.

Finished my Tigershark project this morning, I can post pics if you boys wanna see - just be warned, this is not your daddy's F-20.

I think I finally got the aft structure fill-out smoothed down finally, so I can go about looking into the plate mounts.

The F-20 Tigershark is an old plane, development from the F-5, built by the Northrop Corporation - the design never did go well, but the airframe, in a form, the concept of the refined F-5, also was rebuilt into the F-17 Cobra, which fought directly against the F-16 for service roles, and was later refined to the F/A-18 Hornet. The F-20 Tigershark was initially built for lightweight fighter duties, and fought against the F-16 for export market, falling short. It was only seen in service with ANG and other second-line forces. Mine's a revised version, in Egyptian markings, with an RD-33, or MiG-29, Engine, and carrying Russian weapons.







Yes, for those in the know, the missiles carried are the Kh-31 and R-77 missiles, some serious Russian-built hardware. The markings on the nose Are the Eyes of Ra, I thought them fitting on an Egyptian bird, let alone the fact that they are centered around the EOTS mounts and the Radar.

It is difficult to see in these photos, but I use Testors' BOYD auto colors, CheZoom Teal Pearl spray and I spray it on the bottom of the TAMIYA Ocean Effect Plate with a dark coat over the Teal color afterwards, like black or Dark Sea Blue. It has a slight dark green tint to it.

No i do not have any probs with my eyes YET.

My naval air force consists of 19 complete and 5 under construction CVWs. So not counting the other aircraft in 1/700 (USMC
USAF,Russian navy and etc. it should be more than 1.300 built aircraft.

My naval air force consists of 19 complete and 5 under construction CVWs. So not counting the other aircraft in 1/700 (USMC
USAF,Russian navy and etc. it should be more than 1.300 built aircraft.

Are you building these aircraft to mount on aircraft carriers or just making the aircraft as collections of specific squadrons to be displayed as separate models, within themselves? A group of aircraft would "be" the model.

If the latter, then that is really, really unique, I'd say. Crazy, but admirable at the same time. Even eccentric on some level. It would look like a butterfly collection wouldn't it?

When I get to the point of adding aircraft carriers to my growing collection, I'll seriously contimplate hiring you to do the aircraft for them. You could go into business with this and make some extra money. I can't be the only one that dreads the repitition of assembling, painting, and adding decals to 1/700 aircraft.

By the way............I visited a Greek Orthodox church last week and they were baking baklava. I thought of you. A big map of Greece on display, as well.

There was a lovely little old Greek lady in an apron, there. She was holding her hands up in front of her trying not to touch anything. I asked her, "What do you have on our hands?"

She said, "Honey."

I said, "Don't call me any of your pet names..............what do you have on your hands, Baby?"

She blushed all red and giggled shyly.
