The first two are Oscar class - the side-saddle missile tubes around the sail say that. Interesting place for the torpedo loading hatch though, obviously it has the benefit that you can load both torpedo rooms through one central location. The third sub, it doesn't really give away What the sub is by the view, at least to me.

EDIT - yes it does, same sub - look at the way the side bulges out a little and then runs Flat along the side.

The Kilaueas are looking good, Nektarios. Very nicely done for a certainty.
Die Panzerschiffe - Putting the Heavy in Heavy Cruiser since 1940.

It's not Overkill, it's Insurance.

Nice progress on the Kilaueas, Nektarios! I know what you mean when you say you haven't been able to work much on the models. Despite being on sem break, I'm caught up in work and when I come home in the evening I don't have the concentration that a model the size of the Liverpool requires. I'm hoping to finish her this weekend though.

Very interesting pictures of the subs! Never quite seen pictures like that before. Yiannis, if your friend has more pictures, please do share :thumbs_up_1: :wave_1:

Hi Mitch, I just took a look at that sub your friend is building. Holy cow! That looks HUGE! Zeer groot :)

As a contrast, I'd like to show you all my now finished HMS Liverpool. I wish I had counted the hours because it took me much longer than I had thought. Here are a couple of pics:
