Nektarios,
Thanks for the close up photos! That's what I like, the best!
Did the UNREP decals come with the kits? Is the UNREP hose/line photo-etch?
Very SHARP!! All of them!!

Great job on the AE's. I still cannot wait to get one, I think it will be after the CVN-71 and the LHD-7 that are on the board.
I recieved decals for both from Starfighter last weekend and finally was able to look them over. what fine details in them good stuff. Last night I decided to try to decal one plane with them. I can see why you said it takes a while, wow it is a lot of work. Question is to add PE to them as well? hmmm
Anyway great job!

Re: Postwar navy.
Yes the UNREP decals come with the kits. You like them??? I have several spare sets and if you remember i offered you one set when you were looking for some UNREP decals for your Barnegat class kit build. Like them ??? Your second package hasn t been shipped. I can include some of these decals.NukeMM wrote:Nektarios,

Very SHARP!! All of them!!
The UNREP hose/line is a simple wire. No commercial PE would fit this kit.

Re: Postwar navy.
The last four Kilaueas were not as good as the first four i got. Some of the parts were replaced and i had to use putty on some others. The good news is that i was provided with replacement parts for the kits by Ships & Co. and found out that they changed their resin maker. So i expect much better quality stuff from them as they promised.jgoodacre wrote:Nektarios

A couple of days ago i received from Italy the newer kit from Ships & Co. U.S.S. Ticonderoga. What they said is true. Quality is much better than in the previous kits.
I can t describe how i feel having in my hands a kit that some years ago was just a dream.
Applying Starfighter decals on aircraft gives mixed feelings. While working with them you feel the need to

No, not yet. That FAC was just an idea, but if I happen to stumble across one here, then I will definitely go for it. I'm still a bit hesitant when it comes to buying stuff on ebay from other countries...you know, money transfers, international shipping... but like I said, if I find it here somewhere...well, then... *low dark echoing laughter*
