Re Lion class..

I have a rather nice unpublished glass negative taken of either Lion or PR probably near Oban...

here is a view- its conveniently scanned and on my PC

how did you scan that glass plate neg? I'm asking out of curiousity not having ever scanned one. Done plenty of film negs though.

Aha!

I said the slide was on my PC and scanned--I did not actually scan it myself! :big_grin: :big_grin:
that is quite a specialist job I think.
I got Jonathan Eastland to do it for me( He is a famous yachting photographer who has a marine picture library!)

I built Lion many years ago at 1/128 for Jutland and a 1918 version when she carried a Sopwith Pup on Q and Y turret and also at 1/192 a Princess Royal .
