It looks huge gtb compared to the 1/700 ships. Now i need to buy aircraft, PE sets, weapons like phallanx and i need to scratchbuild the island in 1/350.

CV-62 has scratchbuilt a hangar. If i remember correctly it was my first attempt to add a hangar to a carrier .

Now i have a small question.
Is it an 100% fully closed hangar? Ore can u lift up the deck to see the inside?
And can u remember how much hangar bays you added? Because i can't find any picture's, so i just keep it at 2 hangar bays.
Section 1 for the fighters, section 2 for helicopters and other aircraft.

*pss i gain a new squadron from planes from revell, just for 5 euro's! So total 90 planes, 20 helicopters, and 15 CIWS! *

In nimitz class there are 3 bay's, i mean whit this whit those doors that can be closed.

If you mean with the hangar doors closed then Forrestals have two hangar deck sections.

Alright, I couldn't abandon those of you who beloved this project, who thought to look, who thought to comment. The PLAAF Hind-A is Finished! I loaded her up for true Crowd-cleaning, with Napalm and HE, the kind of subtle the PLAAF can appreciate. Yes, the markings are hand painted, much to my cursing, for those not in the know. Pictures!

gtb i didn t say it will be the way it was in 97 bewcause then she was retired i said 1996 final cruise. I haven t studied what i can add to a carrier in 1/350.
