KA wooden deck is truly lovely IMO better than Shinsengumis and pretty affordable too you made the right choice Kostas. Be aware of something though, more than half of the deck molded detail will have to be removed i had no other choice however i was able to salvage some of them which Ill be gluing back once i start on the hull. Wish i couldve seen yours before mine in the making, hey you never know probably you might catch up with me on this one

I did however --as i had one half finished --apply the KA wooden deck on my early Yamato , plus the Lion Roar flight deck for the Yamato and they do look the business.I think a bit of selective oil staining to blend the deck with the rest of the ships color tone will elevate the realism even higher , it does have a very vivid color for that scale IMO , nothing that cant be fixed.

hope you guys had a great 4th of July what kind i say about it, it was crazy i mean when you are around probably and perhaps even more than 25,000 spectators waiting to see some fireworks it's really something but it was exciting nonetheless. i finished a couple of things today i didn't feel like doing anything but i probably finished more today than in the last 2 weeks. i mounted the last level on the superstructure and it looks awesome even though i didn't take any pics this time because she still need some heavy make up  i'll take a shot next week.

Excellent detail Jose. It looks like we've lost you to the darkside (1:700) of ship modeling, but just in case, I'll leave the light on at the end of the tunnel for you.

I wonder what are you able to do with a larger scale, Jose, if at 1/700 and 1/350 your works are so detailed. Outstanding :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

I hope i don't disappoint myself when i get there Phil  after Nagato i've planned to start on a 1/350 subject, i'm still deciding which one though. i could say the new Myoko which i'm simply craving now but i want to wait a bit to see what P.E sets are released with this new kit. i haven't thought of building anything bigger than 1/350 yet although the thought have crossed my mind.. someday Phil, someday.. thanks
