1/700 HMS Bristol (1911)

Post by moomoon »

Hello all,

This should be my first picture post if I can make it...
Here is some kind of HMS Bristol, one the "Towns" cruiser serie.

It is absolutely not accurate as I drew my own plans using pics and general knowledge of the ship's size.
I used, wood, paper, staplers, a bit of styrene sheet (boats),...
The more funnels, the more I like them :wave_1

Thanks all,

@ Pieter, the gunshield are in wood (hard enought, no balsa), the barbette is a cotton bud.
I fist cut a "square" at the good lenght, width, height, and then sanded required area (had plenty of time, waiting for low tide so I could fish a poor dozen prawns  )

Thank you very much all!
@ Tigerfish: if looking for a reference you should check this one:

Not the Bristol but Glasgow, from the same Class.

@Chenhao: light cruiser (4800tons) but British, not Japanese
