1/350 Olympia hull avail. ??

Post by tonphil1960 »

Is there a 1/350 Olympia hull avail. in the market ? I see Irin Shipwright has a resin kit avail. hate to buy that to cut it down. Fleetscale has a 1/96 which would be a cool build but a bit big.
I guess I could always go with the Revell whatever scale it is and use just the hull.?

Thanks Tony

I am guessing you want to build a waterline model?

If so--have a look here:

however

if you want to build full hull in 1/350-- the Iron shipwrights hulls usually ARE full hull.....

The Revell kit is cheap--but quite flawed.....

Good luck

Thanks Jim,

Yes maybe I will look into the Iron Shipwright. It doesn't matter to me full hull or waterline.
I really don't like working with resin, but I do realize it's the only way to build certain ships so..... if I have to I will. The Revell would be a desperate last choice due to the odd scale.
