Love the choppers, and the stealthy battlegroup certainly shows some interesting angles. Still say it needs a Battleship.

The DML CFA has decals and parts for all 4 nations; US, Germany, Aussies, and Greeks. I only have the "premium edition", not sure about the older version of the kit. It has hull numbers and names for EVERY member of the class for each nation.

The decal sheet that I have is only missing the large and small numerals "9" and the name "Sampson".

Well, a little bit of an update here.

Started work on a JAG Long Beach. Got it for my birthday. Ordered the gun mounts I have planned, and the gun barrels for the secondary mounts. Note to self - Flyhawk PE VLS are a Pain. the hatch hinges are tiny, and I lost five hatches in the process of fitting two of three 64-cell VLS pads.

Got one of the Yamagumo DDK's Nektarios sent me for Christmas on the desk as a destress. This one's turned out very heavy ASuW - two single compact 5" mounts forward in place of the gun and rocket systems, ASROC replaced with a 24" torpedo rack, CIWS on the old torpedo mounts, Mk29 on the aft sensor mount, aft gun replaced with Torpedo rack. Looks quite the beast right now.

wow that Sea Shadow is pretty cool!! Looks pretty small, how big is it?
also, how on eartg can you handle 15 builds at one time? thats amazing :big_grin:

It is actually very small. Smaller than an Osprey class minesweeper. Its length is 7 cm and its width 3 cm.
Handling more builds at once is easy and actually saves lots of time if you build ships of the same class or same navy since you use the same colors. If you build ships of different classes and navies then it becomes a problem causing major delay. :wave_1:

I'm back in the 1/700 mood. I just had to dig into the JAG Belknap kit.

This will challenge my limited skills, for sure. It is very, intricate especially the MACKs. After dabbling in my 1/350 projects, I have to re-adjust for this smaller stuff. I think that my work with the 1/350 PT Boats has kept me in practice for the small stuff.

This is my USS Josephus Daniels CG-27, so far.

Carl, i merely have 686 ships in total. I still have a long way to go until i finish what i have in mind.
