Colour of W1 High Sea Fleet Battleships & B/Cruisers.
I am working on the colour for my ICM 1:350 Konig and also a Sedylitz but cannot seem to find the correct colour for these ships. Some modellers paint their kits with what looks like a blue/grey hull, others a medium gray and others the same grey overall. What are the right colours please. Can anyone help.

Oh no! RN, USN and IJN paints on IGN/KM ships ...
As much as a like the Colourcoats, this is certainly not WEM's USP ...
Happy painting ~ Olaf!

As we state on the website, those RN & IJN colours happen to be exact matches for their RAL equivalents; we don't sell enough of them to warrant relabelling them as High Seas Fleet colours. There are other RAL colours for which we don't have equivalents, and for which there is not enough demand to warrant us producing them. Heck, we can always drop these if folks have a problem....

No, not a problem. For me, it is just a bit irritating that the light grey RAL 7038, erroneously named a "Baltic" colour for the KM should represent the darker hull grey of an IGN ship. I think, Peter was getting at something similar with his post. There is always the question of the source of such information and we just would like to kniow if we missed something.John @ WEM wrote:As we state on the website, those RN & IJN colours happen to be exact matches for their RAL equivalents; we don't sell enough of them to warrant relabelling them as High Seas Fleet colours. I didn't know about RN & IJN matches to RAL colours and I didn't find this on your website (apart from the list you posted above), sorry for that.

[quote="ingura"]Hi Rickman,
you may want to look at this thread here - and repaint your model to match the original (at least a bit).
