USS QUINCY CA-39

Post by griffiths »

Hi
I'm starting my first US warship namley the USS Qunicy.
The kit is the Trumpeter in 1/700th scale.
I've purchased the WEM colourcoats for this model.
The colours I've purchased are US Navy 5-N Navy blue for the superstructure.
Deck blue 20-B but I don't know what colour too use for the darker camo which looks alot darker than the 5-n blue.
Any advice woyld be welcome.
Thanks
Mark

This was supposedly taken just before she wa sunk. Are you sure about the deck color? I agree that 12 Modified calls for it but that sure doesn't look like it
