Hi all,
I started the hasegawa model warship AKAGI. I will try to add some lighting inside with led and optic fiber.
I will try to use the etching detail-up, I know it is an hard stuff!!!
Hope I will have enough patience to realize this beautiful carrier because it worth it!!!!
But lets start by the begining, here my first pictures from december...
Please submit your remarks it will be very helpful for me !!!!!..

Thank you Jim for your welcome.

Agree with you, it is an interresting model from hasegawa, very acccurate and excellent quality.
The etching detail-up part are psychopatic I would say... good to play with it!!!

I had to drill all of the portholes, I guess around 500 ! My drill machine is resting now and is cooling down!!!
I had to do that specially because I will put light inside the ship.

I was wondering what is wrong? I peint the floor and now it is better.
I had a table and some cards on the wall.
And because of saturday night fever I put two real ligts with optic fiber and LED on the wall.
The green light is fixed but the red is blinding... have fun!

Nice, I like this idea of lighting up a ship. This will be a fun thread to watch!

It is hard to continue because of heat in east of France where I leave. Almost 30°C in the room where I have to build the ship, so it is too hot for painting.
Anyway here my last pictures.

Thanks everybody for your interest, I am trying to do my best but as I saw so many marvellous models I said to myself this forum is for the professionnel!!

As I am not very best for painting I am trying something else by adding light effects.

Anionaceo, I love it. Especially all that PE. The addition of light makes it very special :thumbs_up_1:
