HMS Shearwater, White Ensign Models 1/350

Post by Christian Bruer »

Hello Gentleman,

I start building the Kingfisher Class Coastal Sloop early in 2009. A long time ago, but now she is finished. I choose HMS Shearwater one of the last three of the Claas build in 1938/1939. HMS Shearwater was the first command of Nicolas John Turney Monsarrat, the author of "The Cruel Sea". He commanded the Sloop from March 1943 untill October 1943.

Hi Jim,

yep she will - and me too  To finish the model was one of the reason why I leave some garden work for my beloved wife. By the way, it is allways good to have some support for the hobby from the better half :thumbs_up_1:

Ah, and thanks for your comment :wave_1:
Cheers,
Christian
