How many tin's to order?

Never have used WEM's enamels before. Looking to order some from Snyder & Short. Was wondering about how many tins of 5-N Navy Blue and how many tins of 20-B Deck Blue would I need to cover this Dragon 1/350 USS Laffey Smart kit I'm starting? Two of each? Three? I think I'll use the airbrush and follow up with a small 'ought' or 'double ought' brush for touchups. Any ideas?

For that ship at that scale, I would imagine that one tin for each color would be okay. Try asking John at WEM to verify on the main page or contacting him on WEM's web page. He's very good about answering questions/ post. Hope this was of some help. Jon

One of each should be more than enough. Peter Hall brush-painted his 1/350 USS Hornet and only used about 1/2 tin of each color.

Glenn, being about 80% done with Laffey I'd say one tin each should do you. But, I've found those specific colors hard to come by lately, so if you find a source and plan on building more ships using those colors (Deck Blue is pretty universal for the WW 2 period for U.S.N. ships), I'd stock up.
