actualy got very depressed building this stuff -especially the radar -it looked not too good. (to me) however, a lesson learnt -see how it looks once painted!

I am never going to be a museum quality builder -but i am happy with this result -from 2 feet she looks OK

Ten days of heat waves has driven me out of the workshop, and cancelled any painting plans until sanity re temps returns
So, building the 20 odd 25mm gun turrets -man, what a job

Photos soon (i am being naughty, posting from work)
Gawd -i hate hot summers!

Herbie I had the same problem with the heat wave we had but today I really made up for it and getting stuck back into the Kashin and Admiral Kuznetsov. The new deck for the Kashin class is ready to be attached to the deck sometime this week (fingers crossed), and started work on the side part under the deck of the Admiral. If all goes well with this part of construction, then when done she will finally look like the carrier she is. Might call in one day this week if you are available.

Stop that. Your model is better than any museum model because its going to be enjoyed not dusted.

Hey man you gotta do what you can do, all those turrets look really cool. Say, I bought two bottles of the same glue you have in the background, but the thin nozzles are blocked (Before using) :Mad_6: Did you have the same problem and if so, what did you do about it?

Do you mean the small revell type glue for plastic? With the needle type of nozzle? I've seen different methods. I use a piece of 0.3 or 0.5mm steel wire to poke through. Others just hold a lighter below the needle to burn/melt out the blocking glue.
