Tamiya deck tan too light for the New Jersey?

Post by Tomcat7742 »

I'm building the USS New Jersey BB-62 (Tamiya 1/350). I was wondering if you guys think that the Tamiya Deck Tan might be a little too light. I tested it out and if the room is not well lit it's hard to tell it from any other light colors such as the gray. Much appreciated

Been my experience that the decks got a slightly bit darker as they aged. The pics of the older Iowas looked a little darker
