Calling all IJN Tosa-class (土佐) and Amagi-class (天城) BC fans

By the way Im planing to replace the bollards with Adlers Nest's in 1/700, link: http://www.adlersnest.com/page199.html.
Does anyone know if the Japanaese Navy used various size/paterns or a single size/paterns bollards for IJN Battleship ?

Progressing in my build, straight from the box.

There is no "waterline" baseplate - instead, the baseplate fits internal to the hull. No more putty on those WL seams!

Fit of all parts is excellent, and careful attention has been paid to seam locations. Next up is the fit of the deck plates:

Everything seems smooth so far
Attach the searchlight in the Pagoda(especially the first row) after you finnish assembly with it. Not from the beggining as the instructions insist.

An excellent point was posted on the J-ships forum by Frido regarding this kit. The IJN changed its deck planking material for BBs from teak to hinoki cypress starting with Nagato. I suggest painting the deck accordingly.

My Amagi, and it's photo-etch, showed up Friday. Got a chance to open it over the weekend - very, very impressive model. The PE set is very extensive and looks very nice. The directions for the PE are not so good, but useable.

Mid summer release for IJN Amagi (and IJN Tosa) Fujimi will release brass barrles for the main and secondary turrets.

The University of Tokyo has made a generous present to all of us, placing the archive of late admiral Hiraga online. There are general arrangement plans for Amagi and Kaga, as well as cross-sections, decks and lots of details for both projects, as well as for some other Japanese capital ships.

I find it very interesting that the notations on the Amagi drawings are in English!

From this collection it looks like British and Japanese had exceptional level of cooperation in 1920s - there are even Vickers designs of battleships, similar to Rodney, with imperial chrysantemum on stem, plus Japanese designs derived from these. You may also find plans of Hood, data on British 16-in and 18-in guns, designed for G3s and N3s (but no plans, unfortunately), not to mention plans of Lord Nelson and Hibernia predreadnoughts.
Speaking of Japanese ships I have found detailed plans for Haruna, Hiei and Yamashiro, lines for Mikasa, as well as body projections and sections for some of the battleships and armoued cruisers.

Lots of information for almost all IJN Battleships(there is plans for IJN Katori class pre dreadnoughts, the most obscure Japanese battleships !) and never made designs.
