Aha!!

so this is where all our dark secrets come out...

Hmnnnn...

I do 'occasionally' build a Railway locomotive.... ...

Revell 1/87 Big Boy with all new handrails and additional pipework...
Big Boy ooo1.jpg
Big Boy ooo2.jpg
Big Boy ooo3.jpg
Big Boy ooo4.jpg
I also collect streamlined steam locomotives..( and non-streamlined locomotives  ) in scales from gauge 0 downwards...

Rather than clog up Modelwarships.com with lots of my non-ship images...

here is a link to my thread over at Kartonist.de.... ( because one of the chaps there kindly built a 1/87 Ho PM 36 Polish streamliner in card for me )

Jims trains( plenty of images ! )

This is the Anigrand 1:144 resin kit of the Bell YFM-1 Airacuda, a most Flash Gordon-esque aircraft from the late 1930's. Unusual in that it has the propellors at the back of the engine nacelles, and manned heavy cannon turrets in the front.
Not very succesful, but one operational squadron was equipped with it until 1940. I have this soft spot for 1:144 warbirds, and then the oddballs at that. This model is still missing the propellors, since the resin ones were lost during construction.

Awesome diorama Bill, I like it a lot! My good friend CDR Emory Brown was CO of VF-84 at the time you were aboard, if ya click on the link in my signature line you will see the dio I made for him of his Tomcat landing for his 1000th carrier landing.

Taking a short break from ships, built a giant (1/144) robot kit from a Japanese manga series called Five Star Stories. Official reason is the space for its box in the cabinet can take 4 ship kits :heh:

This was a gift for a friend at work. It was the airplane he worked on while serving.

Very cool build and gift. Nicely done!

I forgot to post a photo of my last "not a ship". 1/48th scale Tamiya KV-2 Russian tank. A very fast and fun build:

That's a cool build. Kind of off the wall. LOL.
