Hi every body

Can somme one have the Profile Morskie ( # 1 ) which is related to the HMS Ajax
I just whant to know if they got some info in regard to begining of his carrer like drawing and or picture of quality of his super structure

Right now I got many picture of his war carrer but not so much for the period 33/39

What I am curious is to know befort to order if it ( the profile ) got some good picture or some info drawing from the early appearance of this class of cruiser.
Because right now I got some pic and drawing from different book : British cruiser of world war two, a nice drawing from the book : British Warships of the second World War ( A folio of authetic scale plans ), 2 number of Warship International N0.2 , 1979 and No.2 , 1978 which talk about the HMNZS Achiles transfer to the Indian navy, plus one picture from a Profile Warship # 32
And also few pic from internet which are almost all in low resolution

ps : I like your skill and it gave me the
kick which I need it to finish my model

Hi!

having studied the volume, most of the pics date from 1941-3--nothing useful at all for your time-frame

Picture quality is poor--drawings are very simplified.

It was a very early Prof morskie--they are much more comprehensive|( if not totally accurate!) these days.

the refernces you have are better and more helpful--save the money and buy a different book!

My personal opinion.!!

I think I will choose the one ( ship ) which I got the beter information from this period and that's it if some area are vage I will make some small guess voila ....

But almost all picture are cut, it is like that for you ......

It doesn't bother all new info are wellcome but it sad to got only alf of the picture

Were I can buy this book, it look great even in russian,I got a friend which can
help me with the legende she can interpret the picture comment at least

i resolve the trouble changing the browser now i use godzilla firefox. when cut the photo i click recharge (two blue arrows) and the bowser continue until the next stop and so until the end of photo, a little bit difficult, spending a lot of time but i can have the photo.

Your browser godzilla firefox it is from Windows or Linux, because I got one Linux partition but I am still a newb with this system ( Linux ) and wen I try make some programe install I have always some bad message like ( can't find the right librairy or something like that

You must reload the pictures several times. Using the Firefox browser I am able to load the complete picture. I the browser show the sign "ready" and the picture is not complete, I press "reload". The quality of the pictures appears to be worse, when I use Firefox or Xnview to watch them, but after loading and saving it with Photoshop, the quality is fine.

the more the time passes it is coming more difficult to download the profiles from the site. is there something wrong ? even the speed is very lowwww

Please be aware of many small differences among the Leander type cruisers. Ajax herself was modified before the war, again modified by 1941-42, and still more changes in a USA refit.

Leander was completed with no HA control station aft and both she and Achilles were transferred to RNZN and RAN, which resulted in some additional minor modifications for both ships.

HMS Neptune also looked slightly different from her sisterships, at the time of her sinking.

If you want to stay with Ajax, I might suggest as she appeared in her 1941 arrangement, with a quad pom-pom in place of her catapult, tripod masts, six single MG light AA (2 at stern, two athwart the bridge, and 2 on her upper boat platform deck (behind and to either side of her crane), also at this period fitted for (but not yet with) "lantern" radar, in place of the original HACS Mark 2 director on her bridge.

After Ajax was refit in the USA, the ship's arrangements became much more "cluttered".
