Greenpeace Vessel - MV Esperanza

Post by MVEsperanza »

9 moths of work have added up to this, There are huge differences from my Original Esperanza model to this one like.... everything. First and Foremost the Hull and the Superstructure, I have made the new ship in different sections. Each deck on the super structure is made separate from each other, the Helicopter deck is now on. I must say the SSE Esperanza has helped me allot with her layout, in terms of, i never knew that there was a walkway between the Smoke Stack and the wall, and even that the Helicopter hanger is separate from the whole ship. There is also only one door on the main deck on each side not 2, The Two Main Cranes have been remade and painted white, as it is in real life, One major difference that has affected the model is the Ships Color, The Esperanza was recently repainted Green from its original Blue Colors. The Bridge has been completely redone, from a "Lego" look of all these colors to a couple of panels and steering equipment.

I've tried using Sketch-Up and all I was able to achieve were indistinct blobs.
Current Builds:
1-350 DKM Z-39
1-350 USS Philippine Sea

MVE,

It takes a lot of practice with any program! Thanks for posting the Sketch Up images. I have never used it and have been curious how well it worked.
