Another difficult question for you gentlemen. After considerable research on the RN sub books I have and after some Google search I've come up with nil regarding the colours of HMS M-1 monitor submarine (12'' gun...!!!). Black and white photos show little of what colours she had and yet no text tells which colours her camo scheme had (can't tell the difference between a dark blue or black in the photos). Any ideas??

Filipe

I had the idea that you had built M-1 and M-2 in her "aircraft-carrier" version but wasn't sure and couldn't find them both on your MW Gallery. Trying to gather more information here and there with my books and online. What's the name of that book you have on the M class???
Thanks,
Filipe

I did, indeed, build M1 gun-armed and M2 with aircraft. I think my M2 might be on the Finewaterline gallery but I only ever post part of what I build and I've not sent anything to MW for a long time.
No worries, take your time with the book. Just hope it is available on Amazon for me to order.
I recall seeing your M-1 at Telford and had the impression (artistic style) that it was yours...wasn't wrong then!

Thank you Peppe!!! Just ordered the book from Amazon!!! Hopefully it will solve a few things. Been looking into the HP model I have here to make companion to my HMS X-1 (in different dioramas). Getting very keen with these odd balls submarines late WWI and interwars(K, M, X classes).
