I would like to throw in my 2 cents, how about a group build based on a Navy this time, instead of a ship?
So I dare ask......

So I dare ask......
What's next? Fresh off the heals of a triple build, are their plans for a new one? I'm ready to go, no (planned) home projects to get in my way and I will pick a model I can get parts for this time....

Re: So I dare ask......
Fletcher,
It looks like some folks were interested in doing a quick little no frills attached Submarine GB with a deadline of Christmas. I will probably get that set up in the next couple of days. I think I am going to push forward with the BB Vs. CV build here soon and perhaps will look for sponsor support again since that was popular and worked very well for the last 3 we had running. I need to do a little recouping after that last one and get all the prizes out to everyone before I go after that one big time. A particular navy is an interesting idea, I will probably put it up to a vote again and see what comes up her in the next few days/weeks. I must say, I didn't think that it would be that much work to run these but there was a ton administrative work but with that said I wouldn't blink an eye before doing another one.

is this good enough to push forward with a sub project to complete for a Christmas deadline?taskforce48 wrote:Fletcher,

I'm down for a quick sub build
Remember those little 1/700 Hobby Boss subs guys. They build really fast and can make for some really simple yet dramatic dios with minimal effort. Best part is they don't take much space.
Drawing Board:
1/700 Whiff USS Leyte and escorts 1984
1/700 Whiff USN Modernized CAs 1984
1/700 Whiff ASW Showdown - FFs vs SSGN 1984
