@ Georgi: I guess there is still no way to get some of your submarines as waterline version? E.g. your USS Nautilus (SSN-571) and USS Skate (SSN-578)?

I have the feeling that recently we announce 3 new waterline models. Since overall the sale of the waterline subs is not even near my expectation, there will be very few new models.
BTW it's seem no one is curious what the other two new models are...and I promise you, they are very interesting.:)

Hello Georgi, nice to see you (online).
Im just mailing the final Order (for this year), as I wrote you, wife isnt allways happy with so many subs, but in view of the upcoming x-mas...
What ever will follow the Virginia class, it must wait untill 2012... :heh:

But looking in my old Janes or Weyers "warships of the world" Im sure, you will find a lot of further ideas (Juliet, Zulu, Golf, Echo) as well as US subs (beside the "Triton" may be the SS574 Grayback?? :thumbs_up_1: )

Ok... lets see
Regards

TR1700 is for casting tight now, will be available at the beginning of the next week. Together with one British boat, but there was no one interested enough to ask which.
The rest of the series will be ready later the same week. Also I just send the current series for casting, There is two 1/700 subs and one 1/350+ 2 1/350 vehicles and one building.
We are thinking about even bigger scale (still to decide 1/200 or 1/144) because some boats are too small even for 1/350.

Great, now we just need to make some drydock keels and put the Upholders on them to accurately portray Canada's submarine fleet!

Your kits look great, and I wish you well.

Hello Ray,
There is no problem to do it, it must be smallexcept that I dont have any references, its little away from my favourite period and I never collect info for them. If you can provide those references we will do it.
I need side, and top view, also cross sections.
Regards
Georgi
I have plans for the E class Submarine if you are still interested?

Of course I'm interested:)
But it will be very small boat. We will do it in 1/700, but for sure it will stay better in 350, or in 1/144 .

Rob, Thanks for the offer of the plans, this Class means so much to me.It would be great if it could be kitted. I would be happy in which ever scale was chosen, and would be really grateful if something could come of this, in 1/700, 1/350 or 1/144 if Georgi was happy to produce it.

My Grandfather served on the E-23, and like so many people, he did not talk about things much from then, and I wish so much that we had talked more about his service. I did hear one or two anecdotes he had told my mum before he passed away, but that was only in the last year of his life that he said anything. I would love to build this Submarine for my mum in honour of her Dad.

I have contacted the Barrow Submariners Association who gave me a few leads on where I could get plans, but I have had no luck in getting anything I am afraid. Thanks for letting us know.

All the best, Ray

Of course 1/700 isnt very big, especialy looking at the extrem small German subs like 205, 206 or even a 212 type.

On the other hand submarine doesnt have so much equipment or even superstructures "above maindeck", that "superdetailing" win much improvement  . And the main scale is 1/700 for the majority of models, so the tiny 206 class (fitted with 8 533mm HWT tubes ready to go) give an extraordinary idea, what it mean to go with such subs for several month deployments... especialy in comparison to a 971 Akula, 688 Los Angeles or even a British Astute... not to talk about the lastest SSBNs.

For single models a large scale may be useful and impressive, but if a ship lover had a large 1/700 collection build, those guys would certainly not get afraid to fix the propellar-ring on a 206 screw.

But to be honest... Im personaly was most happy with the old 1/600 Airfix-scale or even 1/500 Nichimos. That was the best solution, I think. :thumbs_up_1:
