And I'm going to add that it's going to blow y'all's mind what Rob and Dragon have produced. The350th guys are most definitely going to be jealous.

Odd. I resumed my CVN-65 build last night after about 6 months being distracted...

Love those CAD plans. Many thanks for that.

Dragon is also doing a 1/72 Saturn V. Someone over there likes us.

Beautiful job!!

What would the differences be between the 1969 presentation and the 1963 presentation? I would like to build her with CVW-6 and was wondering what changed. I would imaginie that there were not too many physical changes.

Well done! :thumbs_up_1:

...hi from Ray...I don't have my book in front of me, but in the late 60s (67ish) the main pole mast was raised about 12 feet and a 2nd yardarm was shipped. Got my DVD on the E , or the book??, its the only one out there!!!!

Yes she is.

Question, will they ever name another one Enterprise or do we need another political boat. Personally I'm sick of it so lets go back to the days of old in our navy.

well there is always hope for CVN 80 if THAT gets funded. May take a Presidential order too...yeah right. I would not mind one of the newer LHDs or the new LHA designs coming up called ENTERPRISE, those are big 'ESSEX' class looking (squint a bit) boats and I could live with that. Nice to see it in my lifetime by the way.....

CVN 65 anchored today at Faliro Bay, Piraeus, Greece for a three day visit. Here are some pics, I hope to have more by tomorrow, plus there is a chance I might go aboard on official Navy visit...
